02.15 INSPECTIONS - MAINTENANCE OF CUSTOMER EQUIPMENT
Meters are not to be "jumpered out" or bypassed by customers or electrical contractors under any circumstances.
When maintenance is performed on a customer's service entrance facilities, such as replacement of a meter pan, a cut-in card will be necessary in accordance with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code or the Pennsylvania State Uniform Construction Code. As a general rule, work involving service entrance equipment from the weatherhead to the main panel will require a cut-in card, or a reinspection waiver, when applicable, prior to the Company re-energizing the service.
