05.30 GROUNDING
All grounding, including instrument transformer cases, shall conform with the provisions of all applicable national and local codes.
All meter cabinets and troughs shall be grounded with copper wire, not smaller than #4, except if the supply wires are smaller than #4, such smaller wire size many be used for grounding. All single-phase services shall be grounded. All three-phase, four-wire services shall have the neutral wire grounded.
In all cases, if the service entrance ground wire is not bare, it must be identified as required by the National Electrical Code for its entire exposed length at the service weatherhead and in the meter socket or transformer cabinet.
