08.25 NETWORK AREAS - VAULTS / FOUNDATIONS
TRANSFORMER VAULTS AND FOUNDATIONS
When, in GPU Energy's judgment, conditions are such that it is necessary to install GPU Energy owned transformers for the customer, the Customer will provide a suitable vault or foundation.
Location of vaults or foundations shall be located and approved by GPU Energy's Customer Service Department to be easily accessible for installation, maintenance and removal of apparatus.
Vaults, where required, shall be of standard fireproof construction, adequately ventilated and drained and shall comply in all respects with the NEC, local codes and GPU Energy's specifications.
Vaults shall contain only the transformers and their auxiliary equipment. The Customer's secondary fuses, switches, circuit breakers and GPU Energy's meters shall not be installed in the transformer vault.
